Ok folks, tomorrow is upon me when stuff is getting real. No more boob or any jokes please in here. Think I'm not going to be in much of a mood from here on out to play along. You can always create a new thread so I have the option to read or not to read and not wonder about what I may find in here. TIA for understanding.

Dude, I know it will be tough for you, almost like an alcoholic having to say no to a drink when the shit hits the fan, but I did say you can create a separate thread and bust on me there (pun intended). I'd like to keep this more like a journal/updates/any valuable gen info to share whether someone has cancer, knows someone who does, or none of the above. For example, found this tip from those who are having severe fatigue probs. Some swear this really helps: (1) increase fluid consumption to 4-5 litres a day, normally after every meal and when feel lips getting dry. Have to keep hydrated at all times. (2) Make 1.5 litres of green bean soup (no sugar, beans discarded). Boil it until the soup turns green (not brownish), crush the beans, and discard it. Then take it with you to chemo and drink it in between infusion. According to TCM (traditional Chinese medicine), green bean soup helps to detox the body.

Got back from the surgeon's consultation. Basically it's a big one, 4cm is big. He needs me to get an MRI done to better see what's up as the biopsy doesn't give clear views. I'm also getting an appt to see an oncologist next week in addition to the radiation onc I see tomorrow. So no surgery date yet. Has to review more details, meet with the group of docs, I have to meet with the plastic surgeon if it's masecs. So surgery would be in about 2-3 weeks.

It's supposed to be near 100 tomorrow. I have a/c, but still, have to leave my house already very fatigued and dizzy into that heat, which makes me feel worse. I was thinking of boiling the remainder of my eggs before they go bad, but maybe I'll just toss them on the pavement and have them fried instead. I mean, I'd save on adding heat in here right?

My mother has breast cancer. Had the mastectomy about 6 years ago.
Also I have a good friend who is about your age going through it now. It is a tough thing, but the treatments are so good now that you will survive and have a productive life.

It's after 5:00 am and most people are still asleep in CA while I've given up, am sitting here, and listening to some loud upbeat trance music. Aly & Fila. Paul Van Dyk. Love it!
Alarm is set to go off in 2 hours to get ready for my radiation onc appt. Don't think I"ll need it. As luck would have it, Nadal is set to play his qtrs match at the Mercedes Cup in Stuggart against Tomic so sleep is definitely out!

The not knowing how I'll respond during treatment, how intense of radiation and how much, chemo (please let me take the pill instead)- stuff like that. Especially since I'll be alone in my abode most of the time.

I'm not sad I can't make fun of you in this thread. I can do whatever the fuck I want, lady. I'm sad banana because of what you're going through.
