I'm progressively less liberal, as I progressively gain wealth. Having my own kids to feed makes me care much less about feeding other people's kids too. I'd say the only liberal views I have now are I'm anti capital punishment, pro choice, and pro science/anti god. I'm also much more anti interventionist than most fox conservatives (and libruhls for the matter). For the record, I'd still vote for Obama over Romney, if given the chance again. Mormons are creepy kiddy fiddlers. I worked for a mormon for 18 years. Dale was pretty high up in their church thingie. Although I think their religious beliefs are wickity wickity wack, I'd be hard pressed to name any other religion that not only cared for their church members as much as they do, but the community at large. Just my personal experience. Results may vary. Would you like fries with that? Please drive through. This is absolutely not true in my experience. I grew up with a lot of Mormons and went to school with a lot of them. They do take care of their own very well (provided that their own scrupulously observe the tithing rules). However they do NOT much care for the community at large. If you're not Mormon they only care about you insofar as they want to convert you to being a Mormon. |

This about sums it up for me, though I'm not progressively gaining wealth the quite the way I'd like to  I also think the environment is more important than profits, and that we should have a single-payer healthcare system. You know, things Jesus would be into. Government isn't the problem; government co-opted by corporate and special interests is the problem |
