Sticking with the WW II era for a bit. General - Strategic - George Patton He is now famous for using the Nazis’ own patented tactic against them: blitzkrieg. A “lightning war” is generally thought of as one which concentrates all available men and material into the enemy lines, breaking them, then pressing forward without first defending one’s flanks. To defend one’s flanks gives the enemy valuable time to bring up reserves or prepare its own defenses. Check out the movie if you wanna learn more. I just got done saying I was in 2nd Armor during the Gulf War and you took Patton, the commander of 2nd Armor from back in WWII with the very next pick. Had to take him. I had a great uncle who fought under him in Africa.

Engineer
John Logie Baird: The Scottish engineer John Logie Baird invented a mechanical television. While Philo T. Farnsworth would be credited later with developing the dissector tube that made electronic TV possible, Baird is credited with providing the first televised objects in motion, and the first televised human face, as well as demonstrating color television in 1928.
Please move Patton to tactical. I mistakenly put him in the wrong spot. Thanks.

They had two air rifles on their journey. The air was stored in a bulb they heated up on the fire. When it got hot, they would walk over to the stream and put the bulb in the water without allowing the water to come in the top. The hot metal bulb would suck in air when placed in the cold water. When it filled up with air, there was a thumb screw to turn to seal it off. Then they screwed the bulb into the bottom of the air rifle and released the screw. Now, along with a projectile, the gun is loaded. It's just an air rifle. No big deal. Unless you figure killing a bear with the thing counts as a big deal.
They had conventional guns as well. In the time period, that meant black powder muzzle loaders. So they had to transport plenty of black powder. If you need to travel light and optimize the amount of black powder you can bring, what do you make the carrying container out of? I'll wait...
Hey that's right; you make the container out of black powder that you can crush up and use in the guns when the container is empty.

TBBOM - Anne Boleyn - Seductress
Per his text message: "The pussy that broke Catholicism"
Volty - Pablo Picasso - Artist (Visual)
Volty - Alexander Graham Bell - Inventor
You guys are pretty familar with these two. Picasso had a long career. I hadn't realized his lifetime overlapped with mine, he died in 1973 at 91. Many of his paintings rank at the top of most expensive ever sold. On 11 May 2015 his painting Women of Algiers set the record for the highest price ever paid for a painting when it sold for US$179.3 million at Christie's in New York.

Anyways, it's been 21 hours, Vudu can go. And be ready for another one, I've got 90sbaby's picks right here ready.

Hypothermia is usually a result of extreme exposure to cold condition, as is be under dressed in the snow or falling into frigid water. You don't last long with Hypothermia. Hypothermia was used in the first successful heart operation, and just like in nature, the patient won't last long. They had about ten minutes to operate on September the second, 1952.
He didn't invent the heart pacemaker, but it was invented at his request. He is the pioneer of open heart surgery.
