I have been sick all damn day. I can't even keep water down.I have to walk around with this plastic bowl everywhere I go Just because they have come so quickly and unexpectedly.
And because I am so dehydrated, I am getting nasty cramps From my Hands to my feet. Which means I can only sleep in 10 or 15 minute Doses.
I wish I could just fall asleep and wake up all better tomorrow morning.

In DFW most of the sushi bars and all of the super market sushi operations that I have seen are completely run by Koreans. It is at their hands that I have endured bad sushi.
Most resent was at Kroger. The cucumber in the rolls had spoiled. It burned my tongue and I called the store. They were completely focused on giving me a refund. I told them no, I don't need a refund I need you to throw out the rotten cucumber and clean the container. They didn't get it.
There is a sushi bar and hibachi place close by. I ordered sashimi and my yellowtail had a big hunk of body cavity membrane hanging on it. Really? I don't make scenes, I just don't return.

I have always hated sushi. Just hated it.
The other day, the new girlfriend wanted to have Japanese food. I sighed, as I knew this would be expensive and I would not like it. But, sometimes you just take one for the team.
I always let her order for both of us in Asian restaurants, as first of all she speaks the language (Chinese and Japanese as well as English) and actually knows what is good. I find I eat better meals that way.
So they start bringing plate after plate of food to us. Sashimi, rolls, fried things, vegetables, soup.
It wasn't bad. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. But it ended up costing me about $100, and for that kind of money, I'd rather eat steak or French.

LOVE sushi/jap food. Despite it having soy in practically everything if not everything and I'm not supposed to eat it due to type of BC I have.........I can't help it. But I'd only eat it in an authentic jap restaurant, never a market.

I eat supermarket sushi all the time. I don't do sashimi or even regular sushi though. I stick to the spicy tuna rolls or whatever.
At a good Japanese restaurant, I'll eat pretty much anything. Sea Urchin is the only thing I've ever tried and not liked.

I hate Sushi, so whenever my wife wants it, I just eat something else.
She actually enjoys the sushi at the Wegmans near us.
