Yeah yeah they are for pussies, suck my dick. This was a 10-teamer of friends that I thought was discontinued, but I got an email yesterday that the draft was today, and it was reduced to 8.
Rules of note: - 6 pts passing TDs. - PPR - Some bonuses for long passes/runs/catches - Return yards count
Team: QB: Brees RB: Martin RB: TRich WR: Andre Johnson WR: Jordy Nelson Flex: R. Bush TE: Olsen or Cameron DST: Bengals K: Dawson (note: Yahoo says he is less than average at kicker, pfft) BN: Steven Jackson BN: Antonio Brown BN: Mike Williams BN: Ben Tate BN: Cecil Shorts BN: Olsen or Cameron BN: Kenbrell Thompkins
Analysis: Got the best QB in a 6 pt league, and my RBs are sick. Couldn't pass on SJax even though he was RB4 at that point, but as a result my WRs are weak. Also kept waiting on TE. Had a few guys drafted out from under me; Decker and Gronk come to mind. Yahoo said I had the best first half of the draft, but they don't like my second half. Fuck them, I was going for upside guys like Cameron and Thompkins.
I've never done an 8-teamer before; thoughts?

You said it wr is weak but I'd think you could be ok. Maybe try and be quick to te waiver wire for the flavor of the week wr? Or move a RB for one. You will probably be highly disappointed with Andre Johnson, I've drafted him 3 too many times he doesn't get in the end zone but does eat up PPR 8-10 catches for 115 isn't uncommon

VJax was there but I opted for Andre because I already had Martin and I'd rather not have too many eggs in the TB basket. SJax was there at 7.2 (remember 8 teams, but still...). Couldn't pass up on getting 4 of the top 12-15 PPR RBs. I already had starters (except TE) and figured I'd cock block others from RBs. TE was a bit of an enigma. I thought I might try to dominate the position by getting Graham, but he went at the 1-2 turn (by a good FF player). Thought Vernon in the 6th but he went the pick before me. Thought Gronk in the 8th, gone. Waited until the 11th and got Olsen who should be fine, but I really wanted Cameron who I got in the 13th. I love his upside.

I actually like Andre out of that...and if you get a bounce back year from Nelson you should cruise.
Getting Martin, Richardson, and Brees is a steal. Im in 2 different 8 team leagues where we had owners drop out...and those 3 were not possible to roster on the same team. Martin and Richardson were both 1st rounders and Brees a 2nd or early 3rd rounder (in a 6 point TD league he would have went in the 2nd).

I drafted #2, and had planned to take Brees in the second if were there, but then TRich had fallen... took him and took a chance that Brees would slip. Figured I'd take Rodgers worst case. I was surprised that QBs hadn't gone faster; only Manning had gone (late first). A top QB can make a big difference in this league, at least historically.

Richardson in the 2nd that late is great.
I drafted 7th in both of my 8teamers and went Calvin in the first...Richardson in the 2nd in both. 12 team ppr last night Richardson was gone at 10 before I picked 12th.
