#6 - AMISH GFIAFP IMPERSINATORS
QB: Rating - A
Matt Ryan had his breakout season last year, and there's no reason to think that he can repeat or even better it. With receiving threats like Roddy White, Julio Jones and TG returning, as well as a RB that can keep defenders honest, he should be in for a big year. Backing him up is Michael Vick, who everyone is saying will have a good year. I'll need to see it, myself. Yes, the system fits him. However, he still can't read a blitz to save his life, is prone to making mistakes and is injury prone.
RB: Rating - A-
CJ Spiller is set to make his mark. Can he continue what he started last year, when he averaged a ridiculously high yards per touch (I think it was 6 or 7)? Can he stay healthy as an every down back? Will the Bills coaching staff stop trying to force Fred Jackson on us? All signs point to yes. Big year coming here, methinks. Steven Jackson is in a new system and he's got the receiving threats to keep teams from stuffing 8 in the box. If he stay healthy, I'd say that we're heading towards good RB2 numbers here, something like 1,150 yards, 8 TDS with 38 catches for another 350 yards, 4 receiving TDS. There is a lack of depth at RB on this squad; Chris Ivory may get most of the work for the woeful Jets, but I wouldn't expect big production from him. Christine Michael looks explosive and like a future star; however, this is Lynch's team right now. Really good starters, would like to see some depth.
WR: Rating: B
V-Jax is a good receiver, but for some unknown reason, I'm still not sold on him as a number 1. While he did it last year, I'd like to see him repeat that before I put him there. Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are both quality, with Cobb being the higher of the two. Despite the presence of Eddy Lacy, I fully expect the Packers to air it out enough to feed both of these guys and this is one of the rare teams where I like starting 2 of their receivers. Desean Jackson is primed for a big year, and to have him on your bench is a luxury. Kenny Stills is a rookie that needs more seasoning, but he may have a big game or two along the way in that pass-happy offense. Solid starters, decent depth, but nobody that stands out to me as that superstud to lead the group.
TE: Rating - B-
Martellus Bennett had a really solid year with the Giants last season; will he have the same chemistry with Cutler? I think that he will, which makes Bennett a solid second tier guy. After him, you appear to have been stocking up on middling TEs, with Brandon Pettigrew and Fred Davis just hanging around the roster. One of these guys should net you solid points each week.
OVERALL: 7.5 out of 10. Congratulations, you've drafted a playoff team. Top tier QB, RBs, and 4 solid receivers will get you in. It's how you manage the team that could get you farther than the first round.
