#5 STRAINED GROIN
QB: Rating - A
Tom Brady has lost so many receiving threats this year (Aaron Hernandez, Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski) and he keeps right on ticking. I see no reason for him to have anything but a standard Brady season. However, with the killer and the slot machine gone, that took him from an A+ to an A. Jake Locker as a backup is putrid...better hope that Bernard Pollard retires.
RB: Rating - A-
Chris Johnson is showing some of the bust that made him C2K. The offensive line is much improved and opening holes that you could drive a truck through. He just needs to hope that Locker and company can keep the defenses honest. Eddie Lacy: Can it be that the Packers have finally found a real RB? He has shown throughout the preseason the skills to be a workhorse for Green Bay. The fact that you have Run DMC on the bench is just crazy. If he can stay healthy (I say this every year), then he will get all the work for Oakland. He really is the only good player on the offense.
WR: Rating - A-
Megatron is the best receiver alive and I'm not sure that he's even from this planet. Expect more of the same from him. Torrey Smith is now THE MAN in Baltimore; let's see if he can live up to that handle. I think he has a solid year, good numbers for a WR2. Greg Jennings as your 3 scares me a little; I know that he has the talent, but can Ponder get him the ball regularly? Will there be enough touches for him after ADP gets his? We'll have to wait and see. If Jennings can hold on for a few solid weeks, then getting Justin Blackmon back from suspension will really bolster this squad. He's the best receiver in Jacksonville (not saying much, I know).
TE: Rating: C-
Brandon Myers was good in Oakland, but the Giants have always had a run-first mentality. When they do pass, he will be the third or fourth option behind Cruz, Nicks and maybe Reuben Randle. We'll have to see how this develops. Tyler Eifert has talent, but I'm always hesitant about starting rookie TEs.
OVERALL: 7.6 out of 10. I really could have switches spots between you and Amish GFIAFPs. Top QB, good RB depth, good WRs...enough to get you in. Where you go from there is up to luck and team management. You'll have a seat at the table; you can't ask for much more.
