I don't know why the rest of you are complaining...Im likely to be the one getting screwed out of the playoffs with a better record and more points scored than that pissant GFIAFP division...fuck that division is living up to its name. Sorry buddy, but you are getting fucked. Tough being in the same division as a good team, while another division doesn't even have a team at .500 :bs: Poker Pro got stuffed this week. Looks like he's still a lock for the playoffs though My own fault this week with trust Folk and the Colts D...went back and forth all morning Sunday between Floyd, Jones, and Roddy too. Oh and Jordan Cameron can suck a dick.

Oh and Jordan Cameron can suck a dick. Yeah, and I almost played Jennings over Brown. It must be tough having so many stellar players. Seriously though, it'd be great if the complaining would start after you've suffered an injustice as there are still games to be played. Go Gronk!

I might fly in just to club Gronk on his wrist before the game.
Where is that Gillooly guy when you need him?

Still think it should be the three division winners and the wild card should be the league's highest scoring team.

So I'm correct in thinking that the playoffs are set already and this week is meaningless? Other than which of Poker Pro and Heavy Set wins the division?

If we do this next year, we definitely have to change a few things to keep everyone interested. This format made the league meaningless for half the teams after week 8.

All teams should make the playoffs. if you come in 10, 11 or 12 you have to sit 3 players ie no kicker defense and tight end or whatever you choose. if you come in 7, 8 or 9 you have to sit 2 4, 5 or 6 you sit 1 1, 2 or 3 you play a full lineup I just came up with that off the cusp :dunno: that wouldn't work for the playoffs, I need more time

That may be a bit extreme. I've been in a ton of leagues over the years and I think the best are when 6 teams make it. Top two get a first round bye. All divisions do is enables bad teams to make the playoffs while better teams miss out based solely on some random 'division' they were put in. I was also in one league where the top five make it and the sixth playoff team is the remaining team with the most overall points. Lots of ways to go, but I think the goal should always be to keep the most teams interested the longest, without making the regular season meaningless.

Looks like all the top scoring teams made it, except yours?

Looks like all the top scoring teams made it, except yours? I'm not talking specifically about our league. But in general, divisions can enable weaker teams to get through and stronger teams to miss out. If our league went divisionless, even with only four teams making it, this week would be awesome. Four 7-6 teams fighting for the last playoff spot. And if we went to 6 playoff teams, then those same four would be battling for three spots. All leagues are fun. But there are ways to make them fun longer for more teams. Our particular league pretty much had it's playoffs set after week 11.
